Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning: Towards Integrated Urban Transport Systems

This regional training on “Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning: Towards Integrated Urban Transport Systems” is jointly organized by the German International Cooperation (GIZ) and Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB). This is also the 6th training in the IsDB-GIZ partnership on Sustainable Transport which started in 2013 and has covered 36 countries

The workshop aims at exploring the existing urban transport services in the MENA region with particular focus on means for effective integration of informal and formal transport systems and identification of means for improvement. The workshop is organized by the Islamic Development Bank, together with the Participatory Development Programme in Urban Areas (PDP), the sector project “Sustainable Mobility” on behalf of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and co-financed by the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI).
