Regional EST Policy Dialogue and Training Workshop for South Asia and South-East Asia

10 October 2017 @ 12:00 am

Cities in Asia and metropolitan regions in Asia are looking for solutions to support resilience through sustainable urban transport. To support these efforts the United Nations Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD) in cooperation with various organizations organizes workshops, trainings and policy dialogues for safer, smarter, and more livable cities and human settlements. This workshop on resilience supports national, state and local governments to put relevant transport policies and programs in place. Thereby helping participating cities to increase investments towards people and environmentally friendly, climate and disaster resilient infrastructure and services to minimize the loss of human life and socioeconomic damages.
