Retreat: Sustainable Transport and the Post-2015 Development Framework

The Missions of Thailand, Kenya and the Netherlands, in cooperation with United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN-DESA) and the Partnership on Sustainable, Low Carbon Transport (SLoCaT) hosted a retreat on Sustainable Transport and the post-2015 Development Framework on June 10-11 in New York. Discussions at the retreat were centered towards consensus building on a strategy for advancing sustainable transport as part of UN post-2015 sustainable development agenda.  Special focus was given on how Sustainable Transport can be best integrated in the goal framework and Means of Implementation of the post 2015-Development Framework.
