The SLoCaT Partnership and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) are conducting preliminary research into the potential of IFFs and PPFs to scale up global investments in sustainable transport.  No comprehensive overview of IFFs and PPFs is currently available, and most available information from these facilities does not provide detailed information from a transport sector perspective.  Thus, an analysis of the current state of IFFs and PPFs through the lens of sustainable transport will be useful to bridge knowledge gaps that hinder the movement of fundable transport projects from proposal to implementation.
