3rd African Association of Public Transport (UATP) Congress and Exhibition

The third edition of the African Association of Public Transport (UATP) Congress and Exhibition will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa from Sep 30 to Oct 3, 2014. The theme of the congress will be “Growing Africa through an effective public transport system”.  The Congress is organized by UATP, the African Division of the the International Union of Public Transport (UITP) and will be held with the support of  UITP in collaboration with Gautrain Management Agency (GMA) and the Department of Roads and Transport (DRT) of the province of Gauteng.

Communications or papers will focus on one or more topics as detailed in the sub-themes and make concrete proposals to help answer the central question. The abstract of the paper to be transmitted must:

• Be of 300 to 400 words (about one page)
• integrate a rough plan of presentation
• include a short biography and a photo of the author

Paper proposals are expected no later than 30 April, 2014, to the secretary’s office of the Scientific Committee at the following address: uatp@uitp.org. Those selected by the Scientific Committee shall be notified to the authors by 30 June, 2014
