The Michelin Challenge Bibendum 2014

After traveling for the first time to Rio de Janeiro in 2010, then to Berlin for the 2011 edition, the Michelin Challenge Bibendum is returning to China for its 2014 edition, which will take place in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan, from November 11 to 14.

The Michelin Challenge Bibendum is an innovative and collaborative think and action tank aimed at promoting better life through sustainable mobility. It is nurtured by two complementary initiatives:

• The Michelin Challenge Bibendum Open Lab: all year round, communities of experts work together on key global mobility challenges and share knowledge on this online platform. This experimental work will lead to a set of concrete recommendations to be published and presented in a Green Paper at the Chengdu edition.
• Every 2 years, the Michelin Challenge Bibendum Global Summit gathers all the sustainable mobility stakeholders to experience innovation, debate proposals, identify required contributions and influence decision makers to enable the massive deployment of sustainable mobility solutions. 

The 12th edition, held in Chengdu, China, from November 11th to 14th, promises to showcase the leaders who are building the future, through outdoor car activities, high level meetings, exhibitions, and technological innovations.
