Webinar Low Carbon Transport Infrastructure – Rail Transport

The Climate Bonds Initiative will be holding two webinars on exploring criteria for low carbon transport infrastructure in September and October. The first webinar will take place on September 8th and will focus on Rail Transport Infrastructure.

The webinar includes rail, metros, trams, freight railway lines and supporting infrastructure e.g. IT upgrades, signaling, communication technologies and charging infrastructure

Speaker: Cornie Huizenga is Secretary General of the Partnership on Sustainable, Low Carbon Transport (SLoCaT). For well over 10 years, Cornie has been involved in multilateral processes to link the overarching priorities of poverty eradication and sustainability with the development and promotion of low-carbon transport policies.

Speaker: Karl Peet is Research Director of the Partnership on Sustainable, Low Carbon Transport (SLoCaT).  Karl leads research on a range of topics, including financing strategies for sustainable transport, with the goal of supporting the global climate change and sustainable development agendas, in both urban and rural areas.
