Building on the Rio+20 momentum for Sustainable Transport SLoCaT partnership members will have informal discussions how to ensure that the SLoCaT partnership can continue to go on to inspire the sustainable transport community and help shape sustainable development in the years to come. This discussion will take place in the context of the Technical Working Group on the Convening of Transport Stakeholders to Develop and Take Action on Recommendations for more Sustainable Transport Systems on 29-30 October in New York will bring several of the SLoCaT members together. The discussion will serve to help develop the 2013 work program of SLoCaT and to clarify institutional and governance issues related to the future of SLoCaT.
