World Cycling Alliance (WCA)

The World Cycling Alliance (WCA) is initiative from the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF) to build a global network of non-governmental organizations with a substantial interest in promoting cycling as a sustainable mode of transport. The main objective of the network is not only to advocate for cycling within international institutions – such as UN, OECD/ITF, World Bank- but also to promote and support the exchange of knowledge, expertise and co-operation of cycling associations and organizations worldwide.

United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean(CEPAL)

The Economic Commission for Latin America (ECLA) -the Spanish acronym is CEPAL- was established by Economic and Social Council resolution 106(VI) of 25 February 1948 and began to function that same year. The scope of the Commission’s work was later broadened to include the countries of the Caribbean, and by resolution 1984/67 of 27 July 1984, the Economic Council decided to change its name to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC); the Spanish acronym, CEPAL, remains unchanged. 

Asian Development Bank (ADB)

ADB is an international development finance institution whose mission is to help its developing member countries reduce poverty and improve the quality of life of their people. Headquartered in Manila, and established in 1966, ADB is owned and financed by its 67 members, of which 48 are from the region and 19 are from other parts of the globe.
