Eight multilateral development banks today issued a joint statement, committing to accelerate their efforts to mitigate transport emissions and recognizing the need for more action on the resilience of transport to climate change.
The need for cleaner and more efficient vehicles, public transport and adequate infrastructure for non-motorised transport in Africa is an issue that has received attention at the ongoing Transport Forum in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
