For the summit mayors will present their experiences, from motivation to the challenges and strategies to make their sustainable cities. Present experience on lessons learned, gathered in an open letter for today and future mayors, encouraging actions and building sustainable cities, where people can develop their skills and be happy.
The Congress: By 2030, another 1.5 billion people and more than 1 billion vehicles will have been added to cities around the world. The choices of today will mark the lives of billions of people. Cities need holistic solutions, measurable goals, healthy accountability mechanisms and innovative national policies. Cities need knowledge and tools to promote sustainable urbanization. The themes for the congress are:
