1. Background
The SOLUTIONS project and Urban Electric Mobility Vehicles Initiative (UEMI) support international exchange on sustainable urban mobility solutions. These initiatives bring together a wealth of experience and technical knowledge from international organisations, consultants, cities, and experts involved in transport issues and solutions. SOLUTIONS and the UEMI aim to make a substantial contribution to the uptake of innovative and green urban mobility solutions across the world by facilitating dialogue and exchange, promoting successful policy, providing guidance and tailored advice to city officials, and fostering future cooperation on research, development and innovation. This event will showcase some of the activities of cities working together on sustainable mobility as part of the SOLUTIONS project and the UEMI network.

This side-event will focus on the discussions related to Policy Unit “Urban Services and Technology” and will highlight the potential of international cooperation in the area of sustainable urban development, with a focus on low-carbon mobility and city-to-city cooperation.

This side-event will provide some examples for local implementation action to deliver on the New Urban Agenda and show-case the city-to-city cooperation in the SOLUTIONS and UEMI context.
