SLoCaT at “Different Regions, Different Solutions” Event at COP16

Under the title “Different Regions, Different Solutions” – the European Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ACEA) in cooperation with their Japanese, American and Mexican counterpart hosted a COP16 side event on December 8th.

Representatives from the car industry, NGOs and academia discussed solutions towards low carbon transport in different regional contexts. Holger Dalkmann, TRL, one of the Bridging the Gap members, spoke on behalf of the Sustainable Low Carbon Transport Partnership. He adressed the need for integrated solutions taking into account all modes of transport – from walking and cycling, over public transport and an intelligent use of passenger cars.
