Transport Days 2016

The SLOCAT Partnership, under the Paris Process on Mobility and Climate (PPMC), organised a full-day Transport Day on 19 October 2016 during the Habitat III Conference in Quito, Ecuador.

The event aimed to ensure that the action orientation of the NUA is being emphasized and that the scaled-up implementation of mobility- and transport-related recommendations of the NUA is actively promoted. It focused on exploring increased resolve and commitment towards transformational change in urban transport is built that links transport action in the NUA, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) transport and the Paris Agreement on Climate. The event also aimed to build bridges  between key decision-makers on transport and other parts of the development community, for whom transport is of importance.   Event Programme
