Highlighting the importance of transport to limit global warming, the second Transport and Climate Change Week fosters knowledge exchange and high-level contacts between transport colleagues from all over the world. To fight climate change together, around 60 transport experts especially from developing and emerging economies gather in Berlin to discuss ways on how to change transport for the better. Participation is by invitation only.

The event will have over 60 transport experts especially from developing and emerging economies, plus additional 60 transport representatives from business, academia and institutions, by invitation only.
Programme
The programme consists of three main elements:
1) Warm-Up and Workshops (24 – 26 September)
Get new insights on your topic of interest in sustainable transport during lectures, exercises and groupwork with dedicated trainers and start expert dialogues with colleagues from around the world.
2) HighLevel Conference (27 September)
Make expert contacts with colleagues from around the globe during innovative conference formats and meet international professionals in the field of sustainable transport.
3) Field trip and Farewell (28 September)
Deepen your B2B-contacts with our ChangeMakerMeetings and explore Berlin and its best sustainable transport solutions.
The Partnership on Sustainable, Low Carbon Transport (SLoCaT) will also participate at the event and give a presentation on Thursday, 27th September. SLoCaT’s Interim Secretary General Holger Dalkmann will give a presentation with the title “Having a look at the Global Status Quo – Where is the Transition?” at 2 pm.
