On June 18th 2013, Sustainable Energy for All, the World Health Organization, and the United Nations Foundation will organize a Side Event on the occasion of the 4th meeting of the open working group on sustainable development goals. Top experts will report on progress evaluating sustainable transport impacts on sustainable development considering economic development, health, and the environment. Key policy-makers will discuss the relevance of findings for post-2020 carbon mitigation and global sustainable development goals.
Seventh Session of the UN General Assembly Open Working Group (OWG) on Sustainable Development Goals will take place on 6-10 January 2014 at United Nations Headquarters in New York. The seventh session of the OWG will focus on sustainable cities and human settlements, sustainable transport, sustainable consumption and production (including chemicals and waste); and climate change and disaster risk reduction.
