The joint Partnership on Sustainable Low Carbon Transport (SLoCaT) and Michelin “Movin´On” initiative Paris Process on Mobility and Climate (PPMC) in consultation with many transport stakeholders has developed a global vision for the transformation of transport the Global Macro Roadmap.
The Roadmap is now being adapted to Morocco. While African and European adaptations are under development this is the first adaptation of the roadmap at the national level. Under the patronage of the Moroccan Minister of Transport H.E. Najib Boulif, with the support of GIZ (German Agency for Interational Co-operation) and the Moroccan Company of Energy Investments (SIE), the local team led by Stefanie Sohm, Growing Markets, supported by PPMC, is working with a broad range of Moroccan stakeholders and experts to develop the Moroccan Macro Roadmap for transforming transport.

Thematic stakeholder workshops will be held in October on e-mobility (Rabat – 23/10), Urban Mobility (Rabat – 24/10) and Logistics (Casablanca – 25/10).
The results of the work will be presented during the Bonn Climate Conference (COP23) in November 2017.
