CAF-Development Bank of Latin America -() has confirmed its support to SLoCaT by providing support to the SLoCaT Secretariat with the specific objective to promote the better integration of Latin America in the activities of the SLoCaT Partnership.
As part of the support Carlosfelipe Pardo of Despacio () has been contracted to facilitate the activities of SLoCaT in the LAC region as part of the SLoCaT Secretariat. This work will be developed during 2013 and until the first part of 2014. Important components in this will be the development of the second Sustainable Transport Forum for Latin America and provide support in communication components of the Partnership.
At the same time it is expected that the work carried out by Carlosfelipe will also inform and support the regional activities of CAF – Development Bank of Latin America.
The SLoCaT secretariat is currently already receiving support from GIZ, IDB and ITDP.
