Roundtable on Inclusive, Sustainable and Resilient Transport

In 2015, the global policy agenda for sustainable development received a major boost through the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes 17 SDG2 and a commitment to support the Paris Agreement on climate change. The Habitat III process, which is expected to result in the adoption of the New Urban Agenda in Quito in October 2016, offers a unique opportunity to integrate the two processes on sustainable development and climate change from an urban perspective.

Safe & Sustainable Mobility for Children in the Global Goals

Safe and sustainable mobility will help us achieve the goal of the High Level Political Forum - to ensure that no one is left behind.

This briefing, co-organized by the Mission of Georgia and the FIA Foundation, will cover key issues, solutions, and steps to reduce the toll of road traffic injuries and air pollution, and promote low carbon transport. This event will bring together representatives of governments and experts from the NGOs, and the Global Initiative for Child Health and Mobility.

14th World Conference on Transport Research

The World Conference on Transport Research has been held every three years since 1977. The 14th World Conference will be held 10-15 July 2016 in Shanghai, China at Tongji University, which will host the Conference at its main campus. The WCTRS Young Researchers’ Conference will take place on 10 July 2016.

Sustainable Transportation for Agenda 2030: Boosting the Arteries of Global Trade

The Fourteenth Session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD 14) will take place between 17-22 July 2016 in Nairobi, Kenya.  During the UNCTAD 14, the Partnership on Sustainable, Low Carbon Transport (SLoCaT) together with UNCTAD is organizing a Ministerial Round Table on "Sustainable Transportation for Agenda 2030: Boosting the Arteries of Global Trade"on 21 July 2016, from 11.30-13.00.
