The Michelin Challenge Bibendum Open Lab

The intention of the Michelin Challenge Bibendum is to show that progress really is being made in mobility and the future is bright for transportation that benefits society. There is a gap between what exists today, the challenges faced (in terms of energy, the environment, safety, and widespread access to effective mobility), and the slowness of the decision-making processes around the world.

ReCAP-SLoCaT Participation at the XXVth PIARC World Road Congress

At the XXVth PIARC World Road Congress, the SLoCaT Partnership (in conjunction with ReCAP ) organized a rural transport strategy session with the goal of defining a clearer global agenda to be undertaken by rural transport stakeholders. Representatives from SLoCaT, ReCAP, KfW, GIZ, the World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as the African, Asian and Caribbean Development Banks were in attendance .

The World Conference on Transport Research has been held every three years since 1977. The 14th World Conference will be held 10-15 July 2016 in Shanghai, China at Tongji University, which will host the Conference at its main campus. 17th IUAPPA World Clean Air Congress and 9th CAA Better Air Quality Conference

The 17th IUAPPA World Clean Air Congress and 9th CAA Better Air Quality Conference is a 5-day event with plenary sessions, breakout sessions, roundtables, posters, exhibition, and social events. Parallel events such as the Sixth Governmental Meeting on Urban Air Quality in Asia are being planned by the UNEP and Clean Air Asia which brings representatives from ministries of environment across Asia to discuss the implementation of the Guidance Framework for Better Air Quality in Asian cities.

Walk21 Hong Kong
