SUTP publishes Guide for Katowice and Poster about Sustainable Transport in Polish

Nov 29, 2018

Just in time for the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP24 in Katowice, Poland, SUTP is proud to announce that the 10 Principles for Sustainable Transport Poster is now available in Polish.

SUTP would like to thank Dr. Marcin Wołek from PROTRANS, Dr. Piotr Kuropatwiński from Polska Unia Mobilności Aktywnej and the University of Gdańsk for the translation. What is the poster about? Based on the approach “avoid-shift-improve”, the GIZ urban mobility team has designed a vibrant infographic on 10 principles for sustainable urban transport. Have a look at the infographic and follow 10 principles of sustainable urban transport, ranging from dense and human scale city planning, fostering walking and cycling as well as public transport, to promoting clean vehicles and to improve the efficiency of transport operations!

Download the Polish version here. To download the poster in one of the other 30 languages, see our main page sutp.org.

TUMI has published a guide for Katowice with a brief history of the city, public transport information and COP24 transport events. It has essential information on how to travel around the city. Famous sightseeing places have a brief profile and a tour to Katowice is recommended as well. You can download the report here.
