International Transport Forum Summit 2016: Green and Inclusive Transport

International Transport Forum (ITF)’s 2016 Summit on Green and Inclusive Transport will explore the importance of low-carbon transport as an essential element in the transition to a green growth economy as well as the changes needed to make transport more inclusive and provide access for everyone to jobs, public services, and other opportunities. The 2016 Summit in Leipzig, Germany will offer a rich programme of inspiring keynote addresses, interactive sessions, and discussions around these questions:

German Habitat Forum with Transport Focus (Berlin)

Sustainable urban solutions will play a key role with a view to achieving both the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and international climate change targets over the next decades. The German Habitat Forum will provide a platform for discussion on how to design sustainable solutions for cities in the future, and will look at the key aspects of 'mobility' and 'urban infrastructure'.

14th World Conference on Transport Research

The World Conference on Transport Research has been held every three years since 1977. The 14th World Conference will be held 10-15 July 2016 in Shanghai, China at Tongji University, which will host the Conference at its main campus. The WCTRS Young Researchers’ Conference will take place on 10 July 2016.

17th IUAPPA World Clean Air Congress and 9th CAA Better Air Quality Conference

The 17th IUAPPA World Clean Air Congress and 9th CAA Better Air Quality Conference is a 5-day event with plenary sessions, breakout sessions, roundtables, posters, exhibition, and social events. Parallel events such as the Sixth Governmental Meeting on Urban Air Quality in Asia are being planned by the UNEP and Clean Air Asia which brings representatives from ministries of environment across Asia to discuss the implementation of the Guidance Framework for Better Air Quality in Asian cities.

Walk21 Hong Kong

Walk21 Hong Kong, the first Walk21 international conference in Asia and the 17th in the series, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 3 - 7 October 2016. The motto of this conference is "Walking puts people first".

SLoCaT Annual Meeting 2017

SLoCaT Annual Meeting 2018

In line with the tradition of the SLoCaT Partnership, our Annual Meeting took place on Monday January 8, 2018 at the World Resources Institute (WRI) Office in Washington DC, from 5pm to 8pm followed by a Members Networking reception. More than 40 SLoCaT member SLoCaT Partnership participated the meeting in person and remotely to review SLoCaT's work in 2016-2017 and also discuss the priorities for coming year.
